Tänään oli ohjelmassa critical function protoyypin esittely. Re-boarderssien rantapallolappari pääsi siis tositoimiin. Kurssihenkilökunnan Lauri ja Greg lisäsivät testiskenaarion haastavuutta ja puolustivat maalia, kun re-boarderssit hyökkäsivät paper biken virkaa toimittavalla kärrykyhäelmällä maalia kohti, pahvikypärä vinossa. Raivoisasta puolustuksesta huolimatta kuljettajamme sai poimittua suurimman pallon ja sijoitettua sen maalitelineeseen, selkeä torjuntavoitto siis! Lapio todettiin edelleen liian painavaksi, joten illalla Riku ja Antti porailivat reikiä kaikkiin kauhan pintoihin. Tällä hetkellä ensimmäinen prototyyppimme muistuttaa lähinnä pahoinpideltyä reikäjuustoa. Prototyyppitestauksen saldona havaittiin myös, että nelipyöräinen pahvivaunu ei käänny kovinkaan hyvin. Pyöriä tulee siis näillä näkymin tippumaan 1-2 kappaletta. 
Today it was time for the critical function prototype. So, the team's beach ball shovel got into a real test. Lauri and Greg from the teaching staff wanted to add the challenge of the test scenario, and were defended the goal from the Re-boarders' wild attacks toward the goal rack. The cardboard helmet hardly stayed on, when the team rode the paper bike replica, picked up the biggest ball and successfully scored it on the top level of the scoring rack. First heat was won!! However, based on the useful feedback of the judges, some major weaknesses of the design were discovered. The shovel was too heavy for smooth operation, and later at night Riku and Antti were cutting some holes in it. Also, it became rather clear that the four-wheel model wasn't steerable enough for the hectic game. So, one to two wheels will be dropped form the design, for sure.
